Our induction sessions (otherwise known as Reps Level 1 or Stage One), are designed to give you a clear understanding of what GMB does and how you can get involved. We’ll explain the role of a union rep, how we help members with workplace issues, and the ways we negotiate with employers to make work better for everyone. You’ll also learn about your basic employment rights and how GMB campaigns for stronger protections.
