DISCLAIMER: We cannot help non-members, or those with pre-existing issues. All members are only covered for issues that occur AFTER you join us.
If you have an issue at work, such as being discriminated against, treated unfairly, or experiencing inappropriate working conditions, you should seek advice from your GMB workplace representative. This person is usually a colleague who works alongside you and will have completed their training to support members with workplace matters, including grievances, disciplinaries, and general employment issues.
If you do not have a workplace rep, or are not sure who it is, then please contact us.

If you do not have an onsite rep, we will provide a trade union official. This will either be a member of the branch responsible for your employer, or the Regional Organiser responsible for your workplace.
Whether you are looking to raise a formal grievance, respond to concerns raised by management, or need advice, guidance, or representation in relation to a disciplinary process, we are here to support you. Our role is to ensure you are treated fairly, understand the process being followed, and are supported in line with your rights as a worker and as a GMB member.
Please contact us as early as possible so that we can advise you appropriately and provide the right level of support.
